Luftwaffe Merkblatt - außerplanmäßigen Luftwaffe Druckvorschrift - Airforce notes

Next to the army issued Merkblätter notes, the Luftwaffe Air Force had their own series, denoted as Lw. Merkblatt. Of the total number of about 175 known Lw. Merkblatt issues, a significant number are army Merkblatt issues.

Often a Lw. Merkblatt is simply indicated as Merkblatt, but recognizable as a Lw. Merkblatt by the numbering in a single series, which is distinctly different from the Merkblatt numbering as used by the Heer. The Lw. Merkblatt numbering is a  Within this series, also a number of Geheim classified issues were published. Their numbering was in line with the regular issues, and are thus not listed separately below.
